He was born a prince and his birth was heralded with a lot of special conditions that indicated a destiny of greatness. The prince's father went to a wiseman that resided inside the kingdom for advice regarding his boy. The sage man theorized that the prince, Siddharta Gautama, might either follow in his father's footsteps and turn out to be a great king or he might become a spiritual leader.

But if you happen to be looking forward to 2013 don't get your hopes up, because according to some prophecies, everything is due to end on December 21. If you love Christmas, make the most of this season and the following, because as outlined by the Mayan calendar, they'll be your very last. Perhaps.
