Wikipedia defines Psychic Readings as:

Wikipedia defines a psychic reading as “a specific attempt to discern information with clairvoyance, and the resulting statements made during such an attempt.” The term clairvoyance is from 17th century French and is “the ability to gain information about an object, person, location, or physical event through means other than the known human senses.” Hence, clairvoyance is sometimes referred to as “esp” or “the sixth sense.” A psychic is the person who has the clairvoyance or performs the clairvoyant techniques. Everyone may be born with some
clairvoyant abilities, but some people are better at it than others. Clairvoyant skills or clairvoyance can be learned and practiced.

Psychic readings are not hard to get. Many people offer psychic readings from their homes and may advertise through a local newspaper or through word of mouth. You can also get psychic readings over the phone or through email. One other common place to get a psychic reading is at a psychic fair, which is a large gathering of people interested in psychic products and services. Most psychic fairs are held in new-age bookstores, meeting halls, or convention centers. A psychic fair is an opportunity for people to meet and try out a variety of psychics.

Here are 3 types of Psychic Readings:

There are many types of psychic readings and three are covered here. The first is one that most people have heard of, palm reading. In palm reading, the psychic tells your future by reading the lines, shapes, and wrinkles on your palm. For example, everyone has a “life line” that begins on the edge of the palm between the index finger and the thumb, and extends across the middle of the palm to the base of the thumb. Looking at this line, a psychic can interpret your vitality and length of life.

A second type of psychic reading is an aura reading. Wikipedia describes an aura as “a field of subtle, luminous radiation surrounding a person or object.” Some say that auras are vibrations. Regardless, of the exact definition, auras have color and intensity and they contain information about a person. Hence, psychics that read auras try to see the aura and convey whatever information it holds about the person. For example, your aura can include information about your talents, emotions, traits, and sicknesses. A psychic aura reading is where a person with psychic abilities accesses and interprets that information.

Astrology reading is a third type of psychic reading.  Astrology readings per Wikipedia “predict aspects of an individual’s personality or life history based on the positions of the sun, moon, and other planetary objects at the time of their birth.” The positions correspond to twelve houses or Zodiac signs. For example, the fifth house corresponds to Leo and relates to one’s self-expression and creativity. If the sun was in the fifth house when you were born, you will radiate spontaneity and creativity, but might be quite self-absorbed.
